Having been an established security engineer with a strong technical background for over 10 years, I’ve more recently helped businesses translate this security detail in a business context.
I’m based around London and the South of the U.K, though willing to travel as far as a good role will take me. My career started over 11 years ago as a security analyst working for small consultancy firm, and I’ve been pushing steadily further to the front-line of cutting edge, large-scale, business driven IT.
With my roots initially in Cisco networking, I soon found myself steering towards broader infrastructure and virtualisation projects which has exposed me to just about all major aspects of the modern digital enterprise to some degree. In recent years I’ve focused more on my passion, cyber security, and have had the pleasure of working with some of the worlds largest corporations from various industries to help plan, advise, and deliver business security projects through technology and people.
With Cyber-Analogica I intend to distill the constant whirlwind of news and activity around digital security and provide concise, easily consumed chunks of information.
Whilst this is a means for me to structure and interpret trends and events for my own personal and professional reasons, I hope others can get some use out of the site.
Whether to keep up-to-date with the days/weeks/months biggest security topics, or if you’re conducting some OSINT investigation, the articles posted on this site will include links to sources, a bullet-point summary of the article content, and any extracted IOCs such as IP addresses, urls, domains, email addresses, etc.
My intention ultimately is to provide somewhere security professionals can filter, query, and investigate news articles based on tagged IOCs, TTPs, Threat Actors, Campaigns, and other relevant metadata. One step at a time, though. This is Cyber-Analogica v1, so watch this space…
